Position
PCB & Hardware Design Engineer
Design and develop PCBs and hardware components for electronic control systems and electric motor inverters, ensuring quality, robustness, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.
The role contributes to the development of embedded components within multidisciplinary and technologically advanced environments.
Responsibilities and Activities
- Design and develop electronic circuits and control systems for electric motor inverters.
- Analyze and optimize inverter performance, including the implementation of PWM technologies and vector control algorithms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electronic solutions into motor systems, ensuring interoperability with other system components.
- Perform simulations and laboratory testing to validate prototypes and ensure system robustness and reliability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support debugging activities during both development and production phases.
- Prepare and maintain technical project documentation,
ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements in inverter and electric motor technologies, proposing innovative solutions where appropriate.
Requirements
Technical:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline.
- Proven knowledge of control circuit development for inverters and similar power electronics applications.
- Strong understanding of DC-AC converters, PWM technologies, and vector control systems.
- Proficiency in electronic CAD software (e.g., Xpedition, KiCad, Altium Designer) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).
- Knowledge of regulations and industry standards related to power conversion and electric motor control.
- Good command of written and spoken Italian (B2/C1).
- Good command of written and spoken English (B2/C1).
