For our Headquarter offices in Milan we are searching for a People Business Partner Retail who will report to the People Manager Italy. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and credible sparring partner to the senior leadership team and corporate stakeholders for our Mail Boxes Etc. Directly Operated Stores (MBE DOS) across Central and Northern Italy.

Your mission is to align the People strategy with business objectives within a continuously evolving multi-site environment, with a strong focus on organizational design, HR financial health, and robust reporting. You will act as a key decision influencer, responsible for setting up and harmonizing cross-functional HR processes across the entire organization to drive long-term growth and operational excellence.

Main tasks and responsibilities

- Strategic Advisory : Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, building strong relationships of trust and actively influencing and guiding key organizational decisions.
- HR Financial Management : Take full ownership of HR financial health by managing complex budgets, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives, ensuring strict cost management.
- Organizational Design : Lead and implement organizational design initiatives to support a fast-paced, continuously evolving business and store network structure.
- Process Optimization : Design, fine-tune, and implement standardized HR processes that are common and cross-functional across the entire organization to ensure scalability.
- Collaboration : Promote seamless cross-functional cooperation between corporate departments and retail partners, aligning local actions with the global HR strategy.
- Compliance & Legal:



Manage vendor relationships with payroll consultants and coordinate with Legal counsel on labor law issues, risk assessments, and internal policy compliance.
- Health & Safety: Coordinate all aspects related to Health & Safety regulations, supported by external providers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, Economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar HR Business Partner roles, ideally within dynamic retail or multi-site organizations.
- Advanced expertise in HR cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven reporting against financial KPIs is essential.
- Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, manage ambiguity, and drive alignment in fast-evolving environments.
- Good understanding of Italian labor regulations, including payroll administration.
- Excellent mastery of written and spoken English.
- Collaborative spirit, with appreciation of diverse perspectives.
- Bold, passionate, tenacious and curious mindset, not afraid to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo in pursuit of better solutions.

Compensation

€30.000–€40.000 total package.

Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and internal equity criteria aligned with our compensation framework.
