At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions. /p h3Purpose of the Position /h3 pAs Offshore Structural Designer, you will respond to the MILAN OFFSHORE 3D MODELLING department and be part of the ABSER Business Line. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liModelling with Tekla (or equivalent 3D CAD tool). /li liDesign drawings for primary, secondary and tertiary structures. /li liBill of materials or materials take off. /li liExtraction of bill of materials and other weight information from the 3D CAD model. /li liDevelop company standards on the basis of lessons learned and fabrication yard recommendations. /li liSupervise the update of the documents after comments issued by other disciplines (inter‑discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.). /li liFeed the Offshore Structural Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEducation: Technical high school diploma. /li liExperience: Preferably 0–2 years of experience in structural engineering. /li liLanguages: minimum required level B1. /li liTechnical Skills: 3D CAD modelling, 2D CAD drafting. /li liIT Skills: Tekla Structures, Autodesk AutoCAD. /li liYou will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects.
