ANNAX, a WABTEC Cooperation, provides passenger information systems for long- and short distance trains, trams, and subways. design module and framework extensions with OO methods
define tasks and work packages
develop, test and document your code
maintain and enhance build systems
configure and integrate ANNAX software and Linux services
analyze issues and fix bugs
apply cybersecurity rules
live clean code principles
evaluate and elaborate new technologies
Skills and tools
C++ (at least 3 years experience)
Linux, embedded Linux
Python, Bash
documentation with Doxygen, Sphinx and PlantUML
administration of code with Git, GitLab
Unit Testing
IP networks, protocols
SQL databases
building using GCC, make, CMake (Conan, Yocto considered an asset)
Knowledge in DevOps methodologies and toolings (GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible) and containerization technologies is a plus
experience in embedded hardware is considered an asset




Profile
Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or similar
experience in rail industry is considered an asset
fluent in English (orally and written)
motivated, independent personality
excited about distributed systems and having fun with them
ready to travel occasionally within Europe and internationally
