Within the Automation business area we are looking for a Maintenance Technician, with a fixed-term temporary administration contract , for our Catania office at the Fontanarossa Airport construction site.
The person will be responsible for the following activities: Execution of interventions for the temporary or definitive restoration of machines, due to failure or electromechanical faults,



during production; Troubleshooting on automated systems or lines; Fault analysis to find the cause and propose countermeasures for the definitive solution of the cause of the same; Management of component adjustment activities within the mechanical workshop; Assistance to the operator in minimizing service disruption times caused by blockages or resets of system parts; Use procedures and/or work instructions to ensure safety, quality and good work results Education: Technical diploma or higher qualification Required experience level (junior, expert, senior, master) Junior: 1-3 years of experience Expert: 3-5 years of experience Technical/IT skills: Knowledge of the Office package and possibly user knowledge of SAP or maintenance reporting systems.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards: must be aware of safety regulations relating to the work environment and the use of equipment and machinery.
Knowledge of PLC programming software will be a preferential title Behavioral skills: Problem Solving Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a Team Language skills: English - Level B1 (preferable but not mandatory) Other: Availability to work on 16-hour shifts *********** (Mon-Fri) with the possibility of occasional requests for shift coverage even on additional shifts (H******).
Availability for on-call duty during non-working hours (appropriately planned).
