Professional Controls Engineering Global Opportunities to Develop Your Career Learn More Here: Job Description * Career Development * Competitive Compensation and Benefits * Pay Transparency * Global Opportunities to Develop Your Career Learn More Here: Tasks and Qualifications Main Job Objectives * Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting/exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements. * Commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end user. * Produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, test specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Automated solutions to BS EN ISO *****. * Interpret electrical schematics and design input information. * Ensure systems supplied are CE Compliant with the Machinery Directive. * Commission Safety Related Part of the Controls system solutions to the regulations and in accordance with BS EN ISO ***************** etc.



Qualifications & Experience * Educational background in Electrical/Controls Engineering as a minimum. * Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline. * Experience in a similar role. * Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software. * Hands?on experience with electrical commissioning. * Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings. * Good understanding of bus systems. * Understanding of distributed control systems desirable, not essential. * Understanding of automated warehouse desirable, not essential. * Ability to travel to customer sites for up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally. * Full driver's license to support the travel requirements of the role. * Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering. Special Conditions * Role will require 80% travel to customer sites within the EMEA European region, including travel to other Dematic offices or facilities across Europe in the undertaking of duties. #J-*****-Ljbffr
