As a
Product Safety and Chemical Compliance Expert,
you will be part of
Versalis
. Specifically, the
Product Stewardship
team is responsible for reviewing and issuing safety data sheets.
Main activities:
Drafting the extended safety data sheet - (e)SDS - for substances and/or mixtures
Ensure product safety compliance with EU and non-EU regulations
Ensure compliance with REACH and CLP/GHS regulations (classification and labelling), as well as regulations for the use of chemicals
Manage communication processes with suppliers and customers as required by product safety regulations
Follow regulatory developments and support the assessment of short/medium-term impacts for the Company
Implement the Eni regulatory instruments by appropriately drafting the Versalis ones
Use company IT systems (ATHOS, SAP) necessary to manage Product Stewardship issues
Manage analytical campaigns to support standard and unsolicited customer Product Stewardship claims
Structure and coordinate communication processes along the supply chain that are appropriate and functional to company needs.
Required characteristics:
Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Sciences; other qualifications may be considered if significant experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience in Product Safety related to the application of EU and non-EU regulations
Regulatory expertise in compliance with end-use regulations for chemical products
Good knowledge of the English language
