Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Bosisio Parini, Italy. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of optical component and system projects, ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met. Day-to-day activities include coordinating internal teams and external partners, managing timelines and budgets, tracking progress, and resolving risks and issues that may affect project outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with expediting, inspection, and logistics functions to secure timely material flow, compliance with technical and quality requirements, and reliable deliveries to customers and agencies.



The Project Manager will also prepare project documentation and reports, support stakeholder communication, and drive continuous improvement in project processes.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to lead multidisciplinary projects from initiation to completion.
Experience in expediting activities, including working as an Expeditor and applying Expediting practices to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
Knowledge of Inspection processes, with the ability to coordinate quality checks and verify compliance with technical specifications and standards.
Competence in Logistics Management, including coordination of shipments, scheduling, and documentation related to domestic and international logistics.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in optics, aerospace, precision manufacturing, or other high-technology industries is an advantage.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Italian or additional languages is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Bosisio Parini and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
