About The PositionWe are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team.
The role is based at our Italian HQ in Assago and reports directly to the Head of Accounting of QSRP's Corporate Accounting Department, based in Antwerp.
You will be responsible for verifying proper payment approvals and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments for several QSRP entities.Key RepsonsibilitiesMatch supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receiptObtain payment approvals for non-cost of goods sold invoicesEnter all supplier invoices into the payables softwareIssue notices to suppliers regarding rejected invoice line itemsProcess expense reportsProcess procurement card paymentsNotify managers when budgeted expenditure levels have been exceededIssue stop paymentsDiscuss with local management payment proposal.Incorporate all applicable supplier credits into payments madeResearch supplier requests for paymentUpdate the supplier master fileReconcile accounts payable to the general ledgerWhat do you bringMaximum 5 years of experience in Accounting PayablesSolid knowledge of accounting principlesStrong understanding of bookkeeping conceptsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with SAP S/4HANAFluency in EnglishGood knowledge of an additional Group language (Italian or French) is considered a plusAs an individual you areDisciplined and self-motivated, with a proactive mindsetStrong time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressureDetail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and organizationAble to collaborate seamlessly with a manager and colleagues located across different countriesAble to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multi-location teamsWhy join us on your journey?
