Activities:Working as a Structural Analysis Engineer at our Cascina Costa site, you will have the pride of seeing your work on our product ranges, grow from a 3D concept through to installation and flight and you will play a part in the continued growth in our capability for the future.As part of the Structures Team you will be responsible for developing structural design solutions in collaboration with other engineering departments and key stakeholders, for our wide product range encompassing conventional helicopters, tilt rotors and unmanned air systems.Our analysis team supports both the UK and Italian geographies so although based in Italy there is the opportunity to work on our full product range.What you'll do as a Structural Analysis EngineerYou'll be responsible for coordination, creation and delivery of varied and challenging static and dynamic analysis test activities including airworthiness compliance documentation,



concurrently engineered with the collaboration of Design/Analysis/Certification Qualification/Manufacturing.Working at a more junior level you would be inserted in the structural team of analysts to reinforce the area capability and growthWhat we need from you to be a successful Structural Analysis EngineerThe ability to own problems and provide pragmatic solutions to challenging timescales and budgetsExperience in the analysis of engineering structuresKnowledge in conventional (hand calculation) and numerical (finite element) techniques for static analysisA working knowledge of fatigue and damage toleranceKnowledge of composite materials and analysis principlesExperience in using MSC NASTRANExperience in using Altair HyperMesh (preferable) or Patran (optional)Qualifications /Requirements (soft/hard):Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited universityPrevious proven experience in structural integrity analyses involving structural modelling and static analysesGood knowledge in structural failure criteria, fatigue analysis, dynamic analysisKnowledge of CAE tools as MSC NastranBasic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. CATIA)Good interpersonal and communication skills, Team working and inclusiveness proven capabilities.
