Job Description Summary As a Senior Materials and Fulfillment Manager, you will lead the planning and availability of military spare parts to meet customer demand, with a focus on inventory optimization, operational coordination, and SQDC performance. You will also oversee plant forecasting for key business KPIs, including SCO, Delinquency, Inventory, and Turns, using data-driven insights to improve performance and strengthen the application of GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK operating system.As a Senior Materials and Fulfillment Manager, you will lead the planning and availability of military spare parts to meet customer demand, with a focus on inventory optimization, operational coordination, and SQDC performance. You will also oversee plant forecasting for key business KPIs, including SCO, Delinquency, Inventory, and Turns, using data-driven insights to improve performance and strengthen the application of GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK operating system.Job Description Essential Responsibilities Lead military spares material planning activities, collaborating with procurement, sourcing, logistics, and quality teams to ensure material availability in line with customer demand and prevent shortages or excesses by managing escalation activitiesCoordinate Long Range Forecast, Budget, and Quarterly Forecast activities of the Plant COEs regarding: Shop Cost Output, Delinquency, Inventory, Turns, and Aged WIPMonitor and Analyze KPIs related to Shop Cost Output, Delinquency, Inventory, Turns, and Aged WIP by preparing accurate weekly reports, highlighting any deviations from targets, and implementing the necessary gap recovery plans, in collaboration with the COEsLead continuous improvement initiatives, in collaboration with the COEs and HQ,
to optimize inventory levels, material flow, lead times, and minimize obsolescence, using lean methodologies such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin KanriCoordinate annual physical inventory process at plant level, in collaboration with the Finance functionLead and actively participate in daily management meetings and Genba walksDevelop, coach, and lead the materials team, setting measurable goals to evaluate success and promote continuous improvement, while fostering a culture aligned with GE Aerospace BehaviorsEnsure compliance with company procedures, ensuring the accuracy of system data and the correct parameterization of materialsAccelerate Connected flow through the use of GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating system to achieve the company's future Inventory and flow objectivesQualifications/Requirements Master’s Degree in STEM subjects including EconomicsProven significant experience in material planning, supply chain, logistics, or operations rolesStrong experience in Lean Manufacturing, inventory optimization, and operational transformationDemonstrated experience managing business performance through KPIs and forecastingFluent in English and Italian, both written and spokenProficient in computer Skills, MS Office package, SAPWork Visa, according to local regulation,
