Join our Environment and Health Department as our new EHS consultant and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. /p h3Your new role /h3 pAs our new bSenior EHS Consultant /b, you will support the delivery of Environmental, Health Safety (EHS) Due Diligence and Compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients across a variety of industrial sectors. You will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to assess EHS risks and liabilities, conduct compliance reviews and audits, and support transaction‑related advisory services throughout the MA lifecycle. /p pThe role requires a strong understanding of both environmental and occupational health safety regulations, together with the ability to identify material EHS risks, evaluate compliance status, and communicate findings effectively to clients and stakeholders. /p pCandidates can work in fully hybrid working pattern from our Rome or Milan office in line with our flexible working policy. /p h3Your key responsibilities will be: /h3 ul liConduct Environmental, Health Safety Due Diligence assessments in support of mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions. /li liPerform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities. /li liReview environmental permitting, regulatory compliance obligations, and management systems. /li liEvaluate occupational health safety programs, risk assessments, contractor management processes, and related documentation. /li liSupport the identification, quantification, and prioritization of EHS risks, liabilities and improvement opportunities. /li liPrepare high‑quality technical reports,
proposals and client deliverables in Italian and English. /li liParticipate in site visits, client meetings, presentations and interactions with external stakeholders, including legal advisors, investors, operators and regulators. /li liContribute to the continuous development of the team. /li liSupport business development activities, proposal preparation and client relationship management. /li /ul h3Your new team /h3 pYou will be part of part of our successful team composed by engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success. /p pThese include: /p ul liA Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Health Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or a related discipline. /li liAt least b5 years of professional experience /b in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing, due diligence or related advisory services. /li liDemonstrated experience in conducting EHS compliance audits and site assessments. /li liSound knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health safety legislation,
including Legislative Decree 152/2006 and Legislative Decree 81/2008. /li liExperience supporting EHS Due Diligence projects within the MA, transaction advisory or investment environment. /li liStrong analytical, report‑writing and project execution skills. /li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders. /li liFluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. /li /ul pThe following would be considered an advantage: /p ul liPrevious experience within an environmental, engineering or sustainability consulting firm. /li liAuditor qualifications (e.g. ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor). /li liRSPP qualification or other relevant EHS certifications. /li liExperience with ESG assessments, sustainability due diligence or environmental liability evaluations. /li liKnowledge of additional European languages. /li /ul h3What we can offer you /h3 ul liFlexible work environment /li liRemote working up to 3-4 days per week /li liInvestment in your development /li liLeaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles /li liNever be short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects /li /ul h3Work at the heart of sustainable change /h3 pRamboll is a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company.
