The Amazon Reliability Maintenance and Engineering team keeps all our equipment in excellent working order, from printers to fully automated sortation systems. /p pAs a Reliability Manager, you’ll make sure that our automated systems are working at their best so that our customers get their orders on time. By exploring data on everything from control systems to sensors, you’ll maximise the availability of equipment at your sites. This role puts you at the forefront of Amazon’s emerging technology to solve complex productivity challenges. /p pThe applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Telecommunication Sector. /p pThe position is classified at level 7 or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liCreate, innovate and drive projects to deliver reliability, ergonomic, cost and resource-use benefits at European-wide scale /li liIncrease standardisation within the network of delivery stations, and in future delivery station design /li liOptimize existing equipment/processes and support expansion of new equipment/process from concept to deployment /li liAuthor and chair reports/ business case reviews to document project status and changes with senior leadership /li liCommunicate reliability program status outputs to senior leaders periodically /li liCreates strategy for long term roadmap /li liImplement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and equipment availability for our internal customers, with a key focus on predictive preventative maintenance programs. /li /ul h3A day in the life /h3 pYour day will be varied. Some days will be at a delivery station learning from our customers in RME, some will be working on design standards for the next generations of Delivery Stations, some will be working on a new MHE concept/design to improve Amazon reliability, and others will be managing large-scale deployment projects to our delivery stations. You would also be working with partners from Operations, Process Improvement, Health and Safety, Ergonomics,



Finance, Procurement, Central Field Reliability and external vendors to design and deploy new equipment and processes in AMZL Delivery Stations. This will require management of a large number of diverse stakeholders, strong autonomy and the ability to work in ambiguity. You will also lead regular communication with executors, project sponsors and senior leaders, requiring detail-oriented, technical and business reporting. /p h3About The Team /h3 pThe goal of Amazon Logistics is to build a world class last mile operation. Amazon Logistics aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. /p pOur Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together improve, troubleshoot and standardise equipment across our network of delivery stations. Everything we do focuses on reducing downtime in Amazon's crucial operations sites, so customers get their orders on time. /p pIt is preferred that this role is located within DE (any DS or corporate office), however candidates from outside of DE, with relavent experience will be considered, and would consequently have a higher travel schedule to accomodate. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree /li liExperience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment /li liWork flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays /li liBachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent, or experience from a technical internship /li liKnowledge of mechanical or electrical systems design /li liExperience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels /li liDemonstrable experience with industry standard RCA (Root Cause Analysis Tools) /li liExperience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.



/li liDemonstrated experience in project management. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field /li liExperience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools /li liKnowledge of PLC based controls systems /li liPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis.
