This position is intended for an experienced professional who will act as a technical reference for electrical architecture, power electronics integration, and robustness of both stack modules and container-level systems. The role sits at a key interface between component-level electrical design and overall system integration. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the Head of Product and the automation team, ensuring coherent integration of power conversion units, electrical distribution, protection systems, and control interfaces.The position combines hands-on electrical design, system engineering judgment, and cross-functional coordination, supporting the transition from laboratory and pilot-scale systems to industrialized containerized solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead electrical design of battery systems (power distribution, wiring,



interfaces)Define electrical architecture at stack and container levelDesign and integrate power conversion systems (DC/DC, DC/AC, bidirectional)Collaborate with automation engineers on sensors, actuators, and communication interfacesInterface with Head of Product on system layout, integration, and scalabilityEnsure compliance with electrical standards, safety, and grid requirementsPerform analyses on power flows, efficiency, losses, grounding, and protection systemsSupport DFM, DFA, and serviceability from an electrical perspectiveDefine electrical standards, guidelines, and best practicesSupport prototyping, testing, commissioning, and troubleshootingContribute xysqume to product roadmap and system-level decisionsQualificationsMSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Conversion Engineering, or related field6+ years in electrical design of complex systems (energy storage, power electronics, or similar)Strong experience in power conversion and electrical system architectureExperience with grid-connected systems and standardsExperience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering environmentsStrong problem-solving and engineering judgmentAbility to combine hands-on work with system-level thinkingExcellent written and spoken English
