We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. /p pAs a bField Service Engineer /b, you will be focused on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment. /p pYou will be responsible for carrying out installation, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, performing retrofits and upgrades on Alcon surgical equipment, maximizing customer satisfaction by providing the highest level of service. /p ul liIdentifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up /li liResearching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs /li liDeveloping on-going relationships with customers to secure future business /li liResolving/troubleshooting implementation problems and/or training customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased /li liCompleting preventative maintenance routine as scheduled and per contract conditions,



as well as emergency calls /li liTesting repaired instruments in all operating modes and demonstrates that repaired instruments operate at Alcon’s specifications /li liMinimizing instrument failure call back /li liInstalling retrofits and instructing customers of resultant benefits and changes /li liEnsuring a high level of communication with customers, sales force, Clinical Applications and operations within the operating region, to ensure customer needs are rapidly addressed /li liCommunicating equipment problems, quality issues and customer concerns to the appropriate in-house personal within the established guidelines /li liConsulting with local and international management on chronic or unusual problems /li liBeing responsible for controlling expenses within budgeted guidelines /li libProviding commercial offers to customers regarding technical services portfolio /b /li libManaging and improving technical service contract penetration in territory assigned to /b /li liSupporting spare parts management, including the timely return of strategic spare part cores. /li liAttaining inventory turn goals for the area/region /li liEnsuring all resources (parts, tools etc.) are available for successful customer call completion. /li liEnsuring reporting and CRM system management /li liProviding feedback to the sales force and management team and inform about any commercial opportunity /li /ul h3WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
