We make what matters work.nnWe are looking for a Senior Materials Engineer to join our Mobility Group, based at our headquarters in Turin.nnIn this role, you will play a key part in materials analysis and problem solving, supporting root cause investigations through advanced laboratory testing and failure analysis. You will work on internal combustion engine valvetrain components as well as new product portfolio developments, evaluating both current and future materials and technologies.nnYou will also contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory workflows and procedures, collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Manufacturing teams to ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and technical excellence.nn## What youu2019ll do:nn * Plan and execute all failure analysis activities and metallurgical verifications on engine components in a teamwork environment.n * Evaluate material properties of existing and new/improved products in line with internal and customer technical specifications, in close collaboration with Product Engineersnn * Perform and support laboratory testing activities on current and advanced valvetrain products, including metrological, metallurgical, chemical, and material evaluationsnn * Select, set up, and verify test methods, measurement systems, and equipment for design verification, performance testing, and root cause analysisn * Collect, analyze, and organize test data, preparing clear technical reports and executive summaries for internal stakeholders and, when required, customers or suppliersnn * Contribute to team problemu2011solving and continuous improvement,
