ppOur client, a global Tier 1 leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and clean energy solutions, is seeking an experienced FPA Manager to join its finance team in Milan. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-growing organization at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting the expansion of utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects across Europe. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure full compliance with Italian statutory, fiscal, and tax requirements, coordinating with external advisors and authorities where necessary. /li liLead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local regulations and group requirements. /li liPrepare and review financial statements and disclosures, supporting both internal and external audit activities and resolving audit queries and account reconciliations. /li liOversee accounts payable processes, including expense review, policy compliance, and payment approval workflows. /li liDrive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including Profit Loss (PL), Cash Flow (CF), and balance sheet forecasting. /li liPerform financial performance analysis, variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to support business decision‑making. /li liMaintain the Fixed Assets Register and coordinate periodic inventory counts and stock‑taking activities. /li liPartner with cross‑functional teams to support business growth, process improvements, and company‑wide strategic initiatives.
/li liCollaborate closely with IT and other stakeholders to optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and process automation. /li liParticipate in finance transformation and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls. /li liUndertake ad hoc financial analysis and support management on special projects as required. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification would be advantageous. /li liMinimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within an international or multinational environment in Italy. /li liStrong knowledge of the Italian fiscal and tax framework, statutory reporting requirements, and local accounting practices. /li liSolid understanding of Italian GAAP and IFRS; exposure to China GAAP would be considered an advantage. /li liProven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit management, and financial controls. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams. /li liFluent English is essential, proficiency in Italian and/or Mandarin would be highly desirable. /li liProactive, detail‑oriented, and highly accountable, with a continuous improvement mindset and strong learning agility. /li liAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is a plus. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
