As an Overnight In-Room Dining Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of outstanding in-room dining service during overnight hours, managing service standards, supervising staff, and ensuring an extraordinary experience for our guests. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service, quality, and atmosphere that define our brand, all while providing seamless and efficient support to guests during the night. **Core Responsibilities** Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: - ** Leadership & Staff Supervision**: Lead, train, and motivate the overnight in-room dining team, ensuring each member is equipped to provide world-class service. Conduct briefings, assign tasks,
and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient and exceptional service delivery during the night shift.
- ** Guest Experience Excellence**: Ensure all in-room dining orders are delivered promptly and with the utmost care. Ensure personalized, attentive, and memorable service to guests. Handle guest concerns or special requests with grace, professionalism, and a sense of urgency, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
- ** Operational Efficiency**: Oversee the smooth running of the overnight in-room dining operations, from order taking to food and beverage delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the process flow seamlessly. Monitor cleanliness and ambiance in areas relevant to the in-room dining service, ensuring it meets Auberge's brand standards.
- ** Quality Control**: Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation for in-room dining orders, ensuring consistency with the restaurant’s standards. Work closely with the culinary team to ensure all orders are correct, promptly delivered, and meet quality expectations.
- ** Inventory & Ordering**: Assist with managing inventory for in-room dining supplies, ensuring the outlet is fully stocked during overnight hours. Monitor food and beverage usage and waste to maintain cost control.
- ** Training & Development**: Provide training and development to the in-room dining team, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
Provide ongoing feedback and support to encourage growth and ensure consistency in service delivery.
- ** Compliance & Safety**: Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed, in accordance with local regulations and company policies. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the overnight in-room dining department.
- ** Collaboration & Communication**: Work closely with other departments (kitchen, housekeeping, guest services, etc.) to ensure guest needs are anticipated and met during overnight hours. Foster positive relationships across teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless service. **Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or resort environment, preferably with in-room dining or overnight service.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and guiding a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A deep understanding of fine dining service procedures, food and beverage offerings, and guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire team members and guests alike.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain organization in a fast-paced, overnight environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to delivering excellence.
- Ability to handle guest complaints with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism. **Additional Information
