PURPOSE OF THE JOB

- Perform the activites, under the governance/guidance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager (PSAM), related to safety assurance in the Projects and Programs. Activities can be related to Project, System, Software, Hardware domains.
- Deliver safe solutions (Projects)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Deliver/perform Safety analysis under the guidance of the PSAM, with the strict application of process as per Signalling Safety Instruction
- Participate to the elaboration of the Safety Reports and the Safety Case under the guidance of the PSAM
- Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product
- Attend periodic Safety Reviews
- Support actions contributing to close the findings of the assessors (Internal or External)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Preferable:




- Mastering CENELEC Standards for Safety (orequivalent standards AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology &concepts;/principles

- Mandatory:

- Educational Requirements : University Degreelevel in Electronics/Telecommunications/SoftwareEngineering/Computer science or equivalent)

- Mandatory:

- Italian
- Fluent English

- Mandatory:

- Can be a beginner in safety but, depending of the domain, specific experience is required on system, data preparation, hardware or software domain

- Behavioural Competencies:

- Be a rigorous and detail-oriented individual
- Possess a strong work ethic and be task focused.Sense of urgency and attitude to respect the committed milestones maintaining the highest levels of quality in theproduced activities
- Structured and organized,
- Proactive behavior,
- Resilient (to pressure, to last minutes deliveries, safety issue management…)
- Ability to say “no go” when needed and to support/elaborate improvements plan/solutions to deliver projects
