This position is a fixed term full-time opportunity available from 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
About the Role
This position provides support to the Recovery Funding Directorate in delivering recovery funding in Western Australia, including administering the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements Western Australia (DRFAWA). The role involves coordinating, managing and processing DRFAWA activations, applications for assistance and/or claims for reimbursement. The incumbent will also contribute to the development, implementation and review of recovery funding policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure the State is best positioned to support the resilience and recovery of communities following disasters.
Responsibilities

Ensure effective coordination and communication with stakeholders across recovery funding initiatives.
Eligibility to Apply
You must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency to be considered for permanent appointments, or hold a working visa covering the term of the contract (proof must be provided with your application) to be eligible for this position.
National Police Certificate
A condition of employment for new employees of DFES is that a current National Police Certificate (less than 3 months old) is provided prior to commencement.
