Experteer Overview In this role you lead technical oversight for a portfolio of 50 shopping centres, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operation. You drive maintenance planning, Cap Ex, and asset optimisation in collaboration with on‑site teams and the Asset Management group. You will manage a technically skilled team and coordinate with regulators, landlords, and facilities partners to safeguard asset value and performance. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional leadership position shaping technical standards and long‑term investments. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day technical management across 50 centres ensuring consistent quality Monitor building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, lifts, etc.) Coordinate with on‑site managers and facility service providers Approve routine and preventive maintenance plans; ensure quality and timeliness Prioritise maintenance by risk, safety and budget; implement standard procedures Lead 24/7 on‑call response for technical emergencies Prepare and update 3‑ and 5‑year Cap Ex plans for all centres Assess obsolescence and prioritise interventions with technical and economic criteria Collaborate with Asset Management and Landlords to validate Cap Ex plans Monitor Cap Ex progress and report to stakeholders; assess energy efficiency opportunities (ESG)



Manage a team of 5 technical resources; set objectives and provide development support Ensure regulatory compliance of building systems with relevant regulations; manage inspections Produce periodic technical reports for Management and Landlords Contribute to annual technical budget and monitor variances Liaise with Centre Management, ESG, HSSE, Leasing and Client Finance teams Support relationships with regulatory bodies and contractors Engage in technical standardisation and reporting with EMEA Center of Excellence Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical) 10 years of professional experience in facility/technical property management or related fields Proven track record managing complex real estate portfolios and multi‑year Cap Ex planning Experience managing technical teams and coordinating suppliers/contractors Fluent English (min B2) for stakeholder engagement Benefits Base salary range 72,000–85,000 gross per annum (RAL) Comprehensive compensation package Discretionary performance‑based bonuses Equity in compensation policies Equal opportunity employer Flexible career progression opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
