The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks within our Rolling Stock Engineering Department. The position is based in Pistoia or Napoli - IT. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liPrepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) /li liDefine and manage system interfaces (both internal and external) throughout the entire project lifecycle /li liAnalyze and assess technical documentation from Suppliers /li liPrepare and verify system installation/integration drawings/specifications /li liConduct design reviews (both internal and with suppliers) for the assigned onboard systems, under the supervision of relevant Engineering Managers and Project Engineers /li liPrepare Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), as well as Functional Test Specifications (FTS) (including performance tests) for the assigned onboard systems /li liAttend at system stand‑alone type test and review of type test reports /li liSupport onboard integration, performance testing and validation phases /li liReview design documentation with customers and suppliers /li liEnsure compliance with input requirements, international railway regulations and standards and project constraints (time, cost, quality) /li liPrepare the documentation required for vehicle approval and support the homologation phase /li /ul h3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liBasic knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines /li liBasic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies /li liBasic knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines /li liGood knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) /li liAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced,
