He/She will be mainly focused on the Chiller and Chilled Water products. /ph3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3ulliTo manage the development of new RD products in the data center cooling sector for high profile and well-known global datacenter customers. /liliDeliver a fast and customer focused response on NPDI projects, where a new solution is based on an existing and well proven platform. /liliWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market leading innovation. /liliTo lead the design of new products or re-engineer existing ones, collaborating with, Marketing, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the customer’s needs. /liliTo approve and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). /liliTo meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution,



achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. /liliTo analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility. /liliAvailability to travel on request between the Italian HQ (base) and other divisions (mainly North America and China). /liliA good level of experience in the HVAC sector with particularly good knowledge of Thermodynamics and refrigeration. /li /ulh3What will make you successful? /h3ulliA minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering is required; /liliPrevious working experience on similar projects, ideally in the HVAC/chiller sector is preferred; /liliGood knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are essential; /liliEnglish – Intermediate level – written and spoken; /liliA high level of motivation combined with leadership abilities is required; /liliKnowledge of technical norms and standards; /liliCompetences: result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible. /li /ulpThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /ph3OUR CORE PRINCIPALS /h3pSafety.
