ppRosewood Rome is currently casting for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, supporting the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.
The role will be instrumental in securing the successful opening of the hotel, by keeping updated and accurate vendor books.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliProcess invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
/liliVerify, code, and enter accounts payable transactions into the accounting system.
/liliPrepare and execute vendor payments.
/liliReconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
/liliMaintain accurate records of accounts payable and supporting documentation.
/liliAssist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
/liliEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.




/liliSupport internal and external audits as required.
/liliSupport the setup and improvement of new accounting software.
/liliAny other activities related to accounting to support the Finance Dept.
/li /ulh3About You /h3ulliProven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role in hospitality is a plus.
/liliMandatory fluent Italian and English languages.
/liliProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
/liliStrong attention to detail and accuracy.
/liliGood organizational and time-management skills.
/liliAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.
/liliStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a Team.
/liliA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
