We are currently expanding our Infrastructure Community in Portugal to drive a strategic, large-scale digital transformation project for a major player in the insurance sector. This project focuses on modernizing core life insurance systems, optimizing hybrid environments, and accelerating secure cloud adoption.

Role Purpose

As a Senior Infrastructure Consultant, you will serve as a technical anchor and trusted advisor. You will design, build, and migrate enterprise-grade cloud environments using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will ensure that the infrastructure supporting core insurance operations is secure, highly available, compliant with financial regulations, and fully automated.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Deploy: Create high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for scalable enterprise infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS).
- Hybrid Integration: Architect secure connectivity between on-premises datacenters and Azure cloud services using ExpressRoute, VPNs, and Azure Virtual WAN.
- Core Modernization: Support the migration of legacy insurance applications and workloads to modern cloud native architectures.

Automation & DevOps

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize environment provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates to eliminate manual configuration drift.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure deployments into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Scripting: Develop robust PowerShell or Azure CLI scripts to automate routine operations, compliance checks, and patching tasks.

Security, Compliance & Business Continuity

- Identity & Access: Implement strict Zero Trust models using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), RBAC, PIM, and Conditional Access policies.
- Data Protection: Configure Azure Key Vault, disk encryption, and data-at-rest/in-transit protection to safeguard sensitive policyholder information.
- Resilience: Design and test rigorous Disaster Recovery (DR) and Backup strategies utilizing Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to meet strict insurance RTO/RPO metrics.

Consultative Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Trusted Advisor: Act as the main technical point of contact for the client’s IT leadership team, aligning infrastructure choices with business goals.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members within the Avanade delivery unit.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spends and resource utilization using Azure Advisor and Microsoft Cost Management to deliver FinOps recommendations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security specialist with deep expertise across the Microsoft Cloud security ecosystem to help clients design, implement, and optimize secure cloud environments.



The successful candidate will work with enterprise customers to assess security posture, define cloud security strategies, architect secure solutions, and deliver security transformation initiatives across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Security platforms.

This is a client-facing consulting role requiring a blend of technical expertise, advisory capability, and stakeholder management skills. The consultant will collaborate with security leaders, cloud architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to enable secure adoption of cloud technologies while maintaining compliance and resilience.

Security Advisory & Consulting

Conduct cloud security assessments, maturity reviews, and gap analyses.

Advise clients on Microsoft security best practices, Zero Trust architecture, and cloud governance.

Develop security roadmaps, operating models, and remediation plans.

Support security strategy and cloud transformation initiatives.

Cloud Security Architecture

Design secure Azure landing zones and enterprise cloud platforms.

Architect solutions aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF).

Define security controls for identity, networking, data protection, and workload security.

Conduct architecture reviews and security design assurance activities.

Microsoft Security Platform Implementation

As a Dynamics 365 CRM Support Engineer, you bring strong customer engagement functional knowledge and hands-on technical experience to our Shared Services team. This is a hybrid role - you'll understand CRM business processes across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Field Service, while also being able to investigate, configure, customise and resolve technical issues across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the Power Platform. You are energetic and passionate about using Dynamics 365 CRM to solve practical business problems and improve customer outcomes.

You will provide functional and technical support across active client environments, with a focus on Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, model-driven apps and Power Platform automation. You will act as a key point of contact for CRM-related queries, configuration requests, user issues, integrations and low-to-medium complexity enhancements.

Essential Functions

- Provide day-to-day functional support for Dynamics 365 CRM applications, including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing/Customer Insights and related Power Platform components
- Analyse client issues and requests, translating them into functional specifications,



configuration changes, automation opportunities or development requirements
- Configure and support CRM processes across leads, opportunities, accounts, contacts, cases, queues, SLAs, knowledge management, work orders and customer journeys
- Prepare and maintain functional design documentation, technical notes, test scripts, release notes and support runbooks
- Facilitate workshops and triage sessions with clients to diagnose issues, confirm requirements and drive practical decisions
- Support data migration, data quality, duplicate detection, security role changes and Dataverse configuration activities
- Conduct functional and technical testing of configuration changes, customisations, integrations, patches and release items during sprint and release cycles
- Manage and prioritise support tickets, ensuring timely resolution aligned to SLA commitments
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and shared services documentation to improve team efficiency
