ppThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export processes, transportation arrangements, and documentation control. This role ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of heavy machinery and spare parts, while maintaining compliance with international trade regulations and supporting business operations across the region. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliCoordinate domestic and international transportation arrangements (road, sea, air), ensuring timely delivery and real-time tracking of shipments /li /brliManage full-cycle import and export processes, including preparation, verification, and submission of all required documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates, etc.) /li /brliMonitor shipment status and proactively resolve logistics issues to minimize delays and operational disruptions /li /brliMaintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including import/export data, transportation logs, and cost tracking /li /brliCollaborate closely with sales, service, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery execution /li /brliOptimize logistics plans and routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation and handling costs /li /brliEvaluate, select, and manage logistics service providers (freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers), ensuring service quality and cost competitiveness /li /brliHandle logistics cost control, invoice verification, and payment reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures /li /brliEnsure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements,
and company policies /li /brliSupport insurance handling and claims processes related to transportation damages or losses /li /brliAssist in continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems /li /br /ul /brh3Requirements /h3 /brul /brliBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field /li /brliProven experience in logistics operations, particularly in import/export and transportation of heavy machinery or industrial equipment /li /brliSolid understanding of international trade processes, customs clearance, and logistics documentation /li /brliStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines /li /brliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive working style /li /brliStrong problem-solving ability and attention to detail /li /brliExperience in working with logistics service providers and managing vendor performance /li /brliProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and email communication; experience with ERP systems is a plus /li /brliFluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage /li /br /ul /brh3Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) /h3 /brul /brliExperience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors /li /brliFamiliarity with Incoterms, international shipping regulations, and customs compliance /li /brliExperience in multinational or cross-border business environments /li /br /ul /brh3Additional Information /h3 /brul /brliThis position may involve coordination across multiple countries and time zones /li /brliOccasional business travel may be required /li /br /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
