Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. /p /brh3About The Role /h3 /brpAs a Procurement Business Partner (Procurement BP) in Logistics Supply Chain Management (LSCM), you will be responsible for creating the bridge between the central and regional LSCM Management team, the LSCM business controlling function and the extended procurement organization, adapting EMEA central sourcing strategies to the regional business needs. /p /brpAs LSCM Procurement Business Partner, you will: /p /brul /brliSpeak the language of the business and understand requirements on logistics and overall supply chain services. /li /brliEffectively participate in cross-functional activities to guide and direct procurement strategies, communicate sourcing limitations, and articulate supply risk mitigation strategies. /li /brliExecute or support the execution of key sourcing projects, negotiations and contractual arrangements across Logistics Supply Chain Management categories. /li /brliFeel comfortable engaging in financial exercises, including regular participation in budgeting and forecasting reviews throughout the year. /li /brliUnderstand and have some experience in P2P processes through SAP and Ariba. /li /br /ul /brh3Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliExecute or support the execution of sourcing projects, negotiations and contractual arrangements for primary transportation needs, including road, rail, air and sea transportation, as well as related logistics services. /li /brliSupport sourcing activities related to warehousing, storage, last mile distribution, raw material logistics and associated transportation and storage requirements. /li /brliSupport procurement activities for LSCM materials, goods, equipment, civil works, energy,
maintenance and business services. /li /brliAnalyze and optimize supply chain logistics, negotiate with suppliers for cost efficiencies and service quality, and support the development of procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. /li /brliDevelop business stakeholder relationships and act as the link between regional and/or local management teams and the extended procurement organization. /li /brliAct as a trusted advisor within the LSCM domain and serve as the primary procurement point of contact for LSCM stakeholders. /li /brliSupport category strategy development, sourcing wave planning, budget definition and procurement roadmap activities in collaboration with business, finance and procurement teams. /li /brliCoordinate procurement support for sourcing execution, supplier selection and contract implementation while ensuring procurement policies and purchasing processes are applied. /li /brliFollow up on procurement savings realization and influence business value through the application of procurement best practices. /li /brliSupport the implementation, training and continuous improvement of SAP P2P and Ariba P2P processes. /li /br /ul /brh3Qualifications Experience Required /h3 /brpEducation, Master, other certification: /p /brul /brliUniversity or Bachelor's degree and/or several years of experience in procurement or logistics roles. /li /br /ul /brpExperience (years): /p /brul /brli7+ years of relevant experience. /li /brliExperience working in an international environment. /li /brliExperience working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, business and finance. /li /brliExperience in logistics supply chain management and procurement of LSCM categories. /li /brliSupply market knowledge is a plus. /li /br /ul /brpTechnical Skills: /p /brul /brliExperience in category management and strategic sourcing processes within logistics and supply chain management, with a special focus on primary transportation. /li /brliUnderstanding of logistics requirements and the ability to translate business needs into actionable decisions. /li /brliExperience with SAP P2P and Ariba P2P processes. /li /brliAbility to identify and research relevant market, industry,
