Support the operationalization of the West Nile resilience strategy within Arua Area Office, ensuring coherence across ongoing and pipeline interventions and alignment with phased resilience and self-reliance objectives.
# Coordinate day-to-day technical follow-up of resilience activities implemented under Irish-funded, MCF, EU and other relevant initiatives, with particular attention to complementarities, sequencing, geographic targeting, implementation bottlenecks and opportunities for scale-up.
# Support integration of resilience in all programmes implemented under the AO/FO
# Contribute to the preparation of evidence-based concept notes, project documents, donor briefs and funding proposals, including consolidation of technical narrative, logical frameworks, budgets, implementation arrangements,



risk analysis and results chains.
# Compile, structure and analyse programme, contextual and operational evidence from assessments, monitoring data, field missions, partner reports and Government sources to inform programme design, adaptive management and external resource mobilization.
# Support the identification, documentation and dissemination of lessons learned, promising practices and implementation models emerging from resilience interventions in refugee-hosting districts.
# Liaise closely with partnerships, RAM, M&E;, supply chain, finance and field teams to ensure that resilience programming is planned and delivered in an integrated and timely manner
# Support engagement with district local governments, OPM, line departments, UN agencies, NGOs, private sector actors and development partners on matters related to resilience building, local economic development and refugee-host integration.
# Convene and lead on CPs monthly coordination meetings at the Field Office
# Assist in the development and follow-up of annual workplans, activity schedules, partner deliverables and implementation trackers for resilience-related projects.
# Support field missions, technical meetings, workshops and partner consultations, including agenda preparation, technical inputs, minutes, action tracking and follow-up on agreed recommendations.
# Contribute to the design and review of terms of reference, partnership documentation and other operational or technical documents required for resilience activities.
# Monitor progress against outputs and milestones, flag implementation risks, propose corrective actions and support timely escalation of issues requiring management attention.
# Support integration of cross-cutting priorities—including gender, youth, social cohesion, nutrition sensitivity, climate resilience and accountability to affected populations—within resilience programming.
# Maintain organized records and reference files for resilience strategies, proposals, donor submissions,



technical assessments and implementation updates to facilitate institutional memory and reporting.
# Prepare concise briefing notes, presentations and summaries for management, missions, donors and external stakeholders on resilience priorities, progress and financing opportunities.
# DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:

# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
# University degree in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management or another field relevant to resilience programming. Advanced training in climate resilience, food systems, livelihoods or related areas is an asset. Experience: At least six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience in resilience, livelihoods, food systems, climate adaptation, local economic development, programme coordination or a closely related field.
# Strong understanding of resilience programming, livelihoods, climate adaptation, natural resource management and/or local economic development approaches.
# Ability to synthesize data and evidence into clear analytical products, concept notes, presentations and decision-support materials.
# Good planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines with limited supervision.
# Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with corporate systems and results-based management tools is an asset.
# Strong drafting, reporting and communication skills Languages: Fluency in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of local languages used in West Nile is an added advantage.
