Job Description

- Analyze and verify internal consistency, completeness and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents, make adjustments, as necessary;
- Perform account reconciliation; troubleshoot and analyze discrepancies;
- Responsible in preparing, adjusting and closing journal entries;
- Investigate,



review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records;
- Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions. (e.g., Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse, etc);
- Manage the preparation of monthly and year‑end closings according to Local/US GAAP;
- Liaise relationship between Internal Dept. and External Auditors to fulfill all Audit requirements;
- Preparation of the VAT and other local taxes for Italy;
- Ensuring compliance with all Avery Dennison Policies (Accounting & non‑Accounting related).

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Economy or related field;
- 2-4 years accounting & taxes (Corporate or Big Four);
- Fluency in English;
- Understands fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting and general ledger;
- Very good analytical skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles are essential;
- Very good IT knowledge, in particular Excel and Oracle exposure;
- HFM Knowledge as a nice to have.
