ph3Job Description Summary /h3 pThe Global Process Engineer (GPE) will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader. The primary focus will be developing and deploying global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes. The GPE will analyze data and work cross‑functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes, reduce costs through standardization, and ensure adherence to these standards. They will also be a focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, and new process introductions, including lead time, technology selection, and recommendations for fixtures, tooling, process, control plans, and qualifications of manufacturing assets. The GPE will coach and influence a dotted‑line organization of factory manufacturing engineers across Aero Alliance factories. Leveraging analytical skills, lean methodology, and a guiding principle of creating process standards for equipment (“One Product One Process”) will drive SQDC in line with business and functional objectives. The selected candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and extensive exposure to manufacturing, engineering, quality, and safe process development while building a culture of inclusion and respect for people as well as continuous improvement. /p h3Roles and Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes; define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders. /li liDefine, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks calibrations, preventive maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and technical technology training. /li liValidate engineering specifications and shop‑floor application of new processes, working with EHS, manufacturing engineers, engineering, quality, materials, industrialization, and sourcing. /li liPartner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications. /li liDevelop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and root‑cause analysis (RCA). /li liCollaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality processes. /li liLead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence. /li liProvide technical support for asset management, including equipment life‑cycle analysis and spare‑parts optimization. /li liTrain local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment.



/li liParticipate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (design for reliability). /li liInterpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work. /li liUse high levels of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Assess the quality of information given and ask pertinent questions of stakeholders to offer new solutions outside set parameters. /li liLead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, or complexity; communicate difficult concepts and influence others to consider alternative viewpoints. /li /ul h3Additional Requirements /h3 ul liEngage design for Six Sigma methodology (DFSS), including measuring existing machine capability, analyzing process requirements, and developing a strategy to maintain or improve process yield. /li liDeploy lean principles, including 3P (Production Preparation Process), total productive maintenance, Jidoka, PQ/PR, takt cycle, standard work, value‑stream mapping, Kaizen, 4D/8D/A3 problem‑solving, and poka‑yoke. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 h3For US Candidates Only /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college /li li7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality /li li5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in welding heat treatment /li liStrong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes /li liAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics /li liProject management skills and experience /li /ul h3For Non‑US Candidates Only /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience /li liSignificant years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality /li liSignificant years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in welding heat treatment /li liProven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes /li liProven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings,
