Position – Software Tester
Vivo Mobile Communication Italy S.r.l. – Milan

Vivo, a leading Chinese multinational in the mobile phone industry, is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Localization Test Engineer to join its local team in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform field testing and localization validation of mobile devices

- Support certification processes with local operators

- Collect and analyze user scenarios to improve user experience

- Ensure overall product quality control for the Italian market

- Provide onsite support to operator testing programs

- Report and track bugs using appropriate tools

Requirements:

- Proven experience in the telecom or mobile phone industry

- Solid understanding of the Android OS, mobile testing frameworks, and testing cycles

- Ability to design and execute test plans, test cases, and detailed defect reports

- Experience with tools such as Logcat, QXDM, TestRail, Jira, etc.

- Strong skills in problem solving,



logical thinking, and user-centered testing

- Good command of English (B2 level or above); Chinese is a plus

- Familiarity with Italian culture and language

- Previous experience with European telecom operators (especially in Austria or Italy) is a strong advantage

- High sense of responsibility, self-discipline, and willingness to learn

- Advanced Excel and documentation skills
