The person will join our future Operation Engineering teams within an important Earth Observation satellite mission contract.
/pp Responsibilities /pulli Conduct orbit determination, maneuver planning, and analyze orbital events such as conjunctions.
/lili Computation and monitoring of the satellite orbit /lili Definition of FDS workflows /lili Development and validation of FDS operational procedures (manual and python-based pipelines) /lili Preparation and participation in System Operations Validation Test Campaigns /lili Preparation of LEOP and Commissioning operations /lili On-console activities during LEOP and on-call support /lili Routine and emergency flight dynamics operations /lili Propose improvements to the in-orbit control strategies and support GS Engineering Team for specification and development of flight dynamics facility for future missions /li /ulp Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience /pulli University degree in a relevant engineering field, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
/lili Relevant working experience in operational mission, orbit determination and control.
/lili Expertise in orbit and attitude dynamics of satellites.




/lili Experience in SSA activities and CAM management.
/lili Ability to communicate clearly under both nominal and time-critical conditions.
/lili At least 3 years of operational experience in FDS operations for LEO satellites /lili Ability to work independently /lili Fluency in English, both in speech and writing /lili Expertise in python scripting /lili Experience with unix/linux OS based systems /lili Ability to coordinate activities internal and external to the team /lili Well?organised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel /li /ulp Location: Roma or Mola di Bari /pp What do we offer?
