Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to support Environmental, Health & Safety Due Diligence and Compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients across a variety of industrial sectors.
The role involves assessing EHS risks, conducting audits, and providing transaction?related advisory services throughout the M&A; lifecycle.
Your new roleAs a Senior EHS Consultant you will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to assess EHS risks and liabilities, conduct compliance reviews and audits, and support transaction?related advisory services throughout the M&A; lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will be:Conducting Environmental, Health & Safety Due Diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions.
Performing EHS compliance audits and site assessments across a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities.
Reviewing environmental permitting, regulatory compliance obligations, and management systems.
Evaluating occupational health & safety programs, risk assessments, contractor management processes, and related documentation.
Supporting the identification, quantification, and prioritization of EHS risks, liabilities and improvement opportunities.
Preparing high?quality technical reports, proposals and client deliverables in Italian and English.
Participating in site visits, client meetings, presentations and interactions with external stakeholders, including legal advisors, investors, operators and regulators.
Contributing to the continuous development of the team.
Supporting business development activities,



proposal preparation and client relationship management.
About youA Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Health & Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of professional experience in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing, due diligence or related advisory services.
Demonstrated experience conducting EHS compliance audits and site assessments.
Strong knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation, including Legislative Decree ******** and Legislative Decree *******.
Experience supporting EHS Due Diligence projects within the M&A;, transaction advisory or investment environment.
Strong analytical, report?writing and project execution skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred qualificationsPrevious experience within an environmental, engineering or sustainability consulting firm.
Auditor qualifications (e.g., ISO ***** and/or ISO ***** Lead Auditor).
RSPP qualification or other relevant EHS certifications.
Experience with ESG assessments, sustainability due diligence or environmental liability evaluations.
Knowledge of additional European languages.
