/ppbr/ppWe are seeking an experienced strongEHS Lead /strong to oversee all Environmental, Health Safety activities on a major data centre construction project in Milan.
/ppReporting to senior project leadership, you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations, and leading a team of EHS Advisors to deliver best-in-class safety performance across the project.
/ppKey Responsibilities /pulliLead all Environmental, Health Safety activities on a large-scale data centre construction project.
/liliEnsure full compliance with Italian health, safety and environmental legislation and industry standards.
/liliDevelop, implement and continuously improve site EHS policies, procedures and initiatives.
/liliManage, mentor and develop a team of EHS Advisors on site.
/liliConduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
/liliDrive a culture of safety excellence and accountability across all project teams and subcontractors.
/liliInvestigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.




/liliBuild strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, project management teams and regulatory authorities.
/liliDeliver EHS training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes.
/liliMonitor project performance through KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management.
/li /ulpRequirements /pulliProven experience in a senior EHS leadership role within construction, mission-critical or data centre projects.
/liliStrong understanding of Italian health, safety and environmental regulations.
/liliExperience managing and developing EHS teams.
/liliDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive behavioural safety initiatives.
/liliExcellent communication and leadership skills.
/liliAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-value construction environment.
/liliRelevant Health Safety qualification (NEBOSH, Diploma or Degree equivalent).
