Topside Completion / Walkdown Engineer - South Korea

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Topside Completion / Walkdown Engineer to join our project services team for a major FLNG project. Based at the SHI shipyard in Geoje, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality delivery and successful completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Contract Period: August 10, 2026 – December 31, 2026 (Extendable)
- Conduct thorough completion checks and system walkdowns for Topside modules.
- Perform detailed site inspections in accordance with project specifications and standards to ensure all systems and equipment meet design requirements.
- Identify, record, and track punch list items, and verify completion of corrective actions.




- Collaborate closely with construction, commissioning, and QC teams to ensure smooth project progression.
- Travel to other locations as required by the project.

Requirements

- Nationality/Location: Must be a South Korean local candidate, currently residing near Geoje-si and available to work at the SHI shipyard.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Completion Engineer or Walkdown Engineer in the shipbuilding or offshore industry.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience on FLNG projects is highly preferred.
- CompeX certification is a strong advantage.

- Other: Must be willing and able to travel as required.
