Overview

Senior Construction Project Manager – Data Centres (Full‑time, on site, Milan, Italy). Lead delivery of complex and technically challenging construction projects for data centres and critical infrastructure. Provide trusted client representation and oversight while coordinating stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted client representative, providing onsite leadership and ensuring successful delivery of complex construction projects.
- Be a visible leader onsite, monitoring progress, driving quality standards and ensuring safe working practices are maintained.
- Lead the delivery of major data centre and critical infrastructure projects, coordinating across clients, consultants, contractors and specialist stakeholders.
- Monitor programme performance, milestones, risks and key deliverables, proactively identifying issues and driving effective solutions.
- Coordinate with client teams, design consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution from construction through to completion.
- Lead project meetings, manage actions and communicate progress, risks, decisions and impacts clearly to all stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with contractors and project partners, challenging performance and driving accountability where required.
- Support effective project governance by implementing and maintaining project controls, reporting processes and delivery procedures.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and work collaboratively with clients and project teams to enhance delivery performance.
- Support quality assurance, inspections,



snagging and handover activities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Qualifications

- Significant experience delivering complex construction projects, ideally within data centres, mission‑critical environments or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record managing large‑scale construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Experience working in a client‑facing role, representing the interests of the client and managing key project stakeholders.
- Strong construction delivery experience with a good understanding of contractor management, programme controls, quality and risk management.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including CSA, MEP, commissioning and specialist contractors.
- Degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, project management or a related discipline.
- Holder of a recognised project management qualification or working towards one (support available).
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused and committed to delivering exceptional project outcomes.
- Excellent communicator capable of building trusted relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
