How You’ll Make a Difference
- Support the Security Operations team in daily operational activities (monitoring, alert handling, incident management, recurring security tasks), acting as a key operational reference.
- Assist in delivery coordination alongside the Cybersecurity Operations Manager, contributing to planning and tracking of ongoing tasks and priorities.
- Handle incident response during high‑severity events, helping prioritize actions and coordinate response efforts.
- Guide team members in daily activities, sharing knowledge and ensuring high‑quality work.
- Manage client interactions: progress updates, escalation handling, and alignment on priorities and expectations.
- Contribute to defining and improving operational procedures (playbooks, runbooks, best practices).
- Ensure operational continuity, service quality, and reliability.
- Remain actively involved in operational security activities across monitoring, incident handling, and analysis.
- Act as a technical point of reference for clients on operational topics, providing updates and supporting escalations when needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Security Operations / SOC environments, with initial exposure to team support or activity coordination.
- Broad, cross‑domain understanding of cybersecurity (security operations, incident management, identity, endpoint/network security, vulnerability management).
- Solid system administration background (Windows/Linux, Active Directory, networking, cloud environments).
- Ability to combine hands‑on technical work with day‑to‑day organizational support in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, supporting and enabling team members.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, especially in high‑pressure situations.
- Structured and reliable approach to work, with attention to SLAs and service quality.
- Compensation: €35,000 – €50,000 gross annually, adjusted based on skills and experience.
- Position is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria (CNEL code C011).
- Hybrid work model.
What We Would Consider a Plus
- Experience in SOC / MDR or managed security services environments.
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR/EDR platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, SentinelOne, Defender).
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST).
- Security certifications (e.g., Security+, Blue Team, vendor‑specific).
- Previous experience in client‑facing roles or project coordination.
