WFP reaches more than 150 million people per year - delivering humanitarian food assistance and working with smallholder farmers, communities, and governments to improve nutrition and build resilience to crises. As conflict, climate change and economic shocks drive up the number of hungry people in Eastern Africa, finding innovative solutions to the complex humanitarian and development challenges in the region is essential, now perhaps more than ever. /ppIn Rwanda, WFP supports the Government with its ambitious goals to ensure food security and nutrition and equitable access to sustainable livelihoods for all. In this effort, WFP Rwanda works closely with diverse stakeholders to provide general food and nutrition assistance to over 135, 000 refugees, asylum seekers and returnees; to strengthen national disaster risk management, social protection, school meals and nutrition programmes; to transform food systems; and to support emergency preparedness and response. /ppThis position is based in the Rwanda Country Office and reports to the Head of Partnerships, Communications, and Reporting. /ppThe Operational Information Management Reporting Officer is responsible for ensuring the availability of accurate, timely, and actionable information that supports operational decision-making, donor reporting, and strategic positioning. /ppIn a context characterized by multi-sectoral programming, hybrid assistance modalities (cash and in-kind), strong government-led coordination, and increasing donor focus on accountability and results, the OIM Reporting Officer will provide an integrated approach to data management, analysis, and reporting, ensuring a coherent and credible presentation of WFP''s operational performance and impact. The role requires strong coordination with programme, supply chain, and technical units. /ppbJOB PURPOSE /b /ppThe Reporting Officer ensures that WFP Rwanda delivers high-quality, timely, and strategic reporting that demonstrates results and impact, meets donor and corporate requirements, and strengthens WFP''s positioning with government and partners. Given increasing scrutiny on accountability, safeguarding of funds,



and results-based management, this role is central to translating operational data into compelling narratives and evidence-based reporting products. /ppbKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, within delegated authority) /b /ppbData Management Operational Analysis /b /pulliConsolidate data from key corporate systems (COMET, SCOPE, LESS) and partner inputs. /liliEnsure data consistency across programme, supply chain, CBT, and partnerships outputs. /liliAnalyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and gaps (e.g., pipeline constraints, targeting issues, market dynamics). /liliMaintain a “common operating picture” of WFP Rwanda operations to inform management decisions. /li /ulpbDashboards Information Products /b /pulliDevelop and maintain country-level dashboards (beneficiaries reached, funding gaps, pipeline status). /liliProduce regular operational updates, briefs, and visual products for senior management and external stakeholders. /liliTranslate complex data into clear, user-friendly visuals and key messages. /li /ulpbCorporate Donor Reporting /b /pulliLead preparation and coordination of:ulliAnnual Country Report (ACR) /liliMonthly country briefs and executive briefs /liliDonor progress reports /li /ul /liliEnsure compliance with corporate and donor reporting requirements and timelines. /liliDraft high-quality reports, briefs, and talking points that clearly demonstrate results and impact /li /ulpbNarrative Development Strategic Positioning /b /pulliTranslate operational data into compelling, non-technical narratives tailored to donors and partners. /liliEnsure consistency of messaging across reports, proposals, and external communication products. /liliHighlight WFP''s comparative advantages, including delivery systems, government partnership, and innovation. /li /ulpbInformation Coordination Quality Assurance /b /pulliCoordinate inputs across Programme, RAM, Supply Chain, Partnerships, and Field Offices. /liliEnsure alignment and consistency between data, analysis, and narrative across all outputs. /liliManage internal review and clearance processes for reporting products. /liliStrengthen quality control and ensure accuracy, coherence, and completeness of all deliverables. /li /ulpbKnowledge Management Learning /b /pulliMaintain repository of reports, dashboards, and key information products. /liliDocument best practices, lessons learned, and case studies. /liliSupport the development of standardized templates, tools, and reporting guidance. /li /ulpbDESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE /b /pulliMinimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in roles related to data analytics, partnerships, programme management, business development, strategy, or other functions requiring synthesis of information and stakeholder coordination. /liliExperience working with multiple stakeholders (e.g. government institutions, development partners, private sector, academia, or civil society), demonstrating the ability to gather, consolidate, and align inputs from diverse sources. /liliExperience contributing to reporting, analytical, or strategic outputs, such as reports, briefs, dashboards, proposals, or knowledge products, in support of decision-making or external engagement. /liliDemonstrated ability to translate data and technical content into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication, including for senior management and external partners. /liliExperience applying data, analysis, or evidence to inform planning, communication, or operational decisions. /liliExposure to cross-functional or multi-sectoral environments, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to evolving priorities. /liliDirect experience in UN or humanitarian settings is an asset but not required. /li /ulpbDESIRED COMPETENCIES /b /ppbCore Competencies /b /pulliDelivers results: Produces high-quality outputs in a timely and reliable manner, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. /liliCollaborates effectively: Builds strong working relationships and coordinates inputs across teams and stakeholders. /liliCommunicates clearly: Conveys complex information in a structured, concise,
