Full time, not remote. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pThe Director of Human Resources reports directly to the General Manager and maintains a dotted‑line reporting relationship with the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. The position is also a key member of the hotel’s Executive Committee. As a member of the HR organization, the Director of Human Resources provides both strategic and operational leadership across all areas of Human Resources. This role is responsible for talent acquisition and development, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and associate career growth. The successful candidate will effectively leverage technology and HR systems, foster the development of leaders and teams through coaching and development initiatives, and drive the execution of business objectives with maximum efficiency. Operating with a high degree of independence, the Director will design and implement processes, programs, and initiatives aligned with the strategic priorities of the hotel, the EDITION brand, and Marriott International. The role is also responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR Plan aligned with property and brand strategies, ensuring that people‑related processes and services effectively support business performance and organizational success. /p h3Human Resources Strategy and Leadership /h3 ul liImplement and monitor action plans resulting from Associate Engagement Surveys. /li liBuild and strengthen talent pipelines that support the property's and region's Diversity, Equity Inclusion strategies. /li liTranslate business priorities into HR strategies, action plans, and people initiatives for the hotel. /li liImplement and sustain Marriott HR programs and initiatives throughout the property. /li liFacilitate Human Capital Review processes and lead succession planning activities at both property and market level. /li liAssess leadership pipelines through the Human Capital Review process and oversee the execution of resulting development actions.



/li liDrive business value through proactive initiatives aimed at improving performance and optimizing labor‑related costs. /li liMonitor and promote effective utilization of the myHR platform by managers and associates. /li liLead and participate in workforce planning and succession management activities. /li liDefine, execute, and continuously refine the property's HR strategy. /li liAct as a change champion for initiatives with significant organizational impact. /li liParticipate in ownership meetings as a member of the Executive Committee, presenting HR performance indicators—including turnover, critical vacancies, associate satisfaction results, learning initiatives, and business impact outcomes—while demonstrating a strong understanding of ownership priorities. /li liLead and develop the hotel's HR team and, where applicable, shared market HR resources. /li /ul h3Talent Acquisition and Recruitment /h3 ul liAnalyze staffing requirements by balancing operational needs with internal talent development opportunities. /li liSupport leaders and department heads throughout the recruitment process, acting as a coach and subject matter expert in interviewing and candidate assessment. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and workforce optimization. /li liMake strategic talent decisions regarding hiring, placement, and career development. /li liPartner with Hiring Managers to define recruitment strategies, including sourcing approaches, compensation positioning, and benefit offerings. /li liMonitor sourcing channels and evaluate overall recruitment effectiveness. /li liEnsure managers possess the skills and capabilities required to assess and select hourly and operational associates.



/li /ul h3Compensation and Rewards /h3 ul liMaintain a strong understanding of labor market trends as well as internal and external compensation practices. /li liLead the Total Compensation planning process for hourly and operational associates. /li liPromote understanding and effective implementation of compensation programs, processes, and tools. /li liParticipate in quarterly internal pay equity reviews, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions where required. /li liDevelop and implement recognition, reward, and incentive programs aligned with property objectives and business priorities. /li /ul h3Associate Development and Employee Relations /h3 ul liEnsure the property's HR team effectively fulfills the responsibilities associated with each role. /li liMaintain appropriate training and capability development for HR professionals across all people‑management disciplines. /li liProvide expert guidance on employee relations and labor relations matters. /li liFoster and strengthen a positive associate relations culture across the organization. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul libOption 1: /b Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in Human Resources, management operations, or a related professional area. /li libOption 2: /b Master’s degree (or four‑year university degree) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, management operations, or a related professional area. /li /ul h3Compensation and Benefits /h3 ul liGross Annual Salary: €65,000.00 – €72,000.00 (pro‑rated for part‑year employment). /li liHousing allowance. /li liMarriott International premio. /li liIncluded 13th and 14th month payments (accrued pro‑rated). /li liTFR (severance) paid at contract end. /li liMeal vouchers (ticket restaurants) – €8 net per working day. /li liAccess to the Marriott Bonvoy program, offering exclusive employee rates at Marriott properties worldwide. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
