As a Senior Backend Engineer at Moneyfarm, you own complex backend services end-to-end—from design to deployment. You contribute to cross-functional streams within the Partners bubble that supports B2B2C partnerships with banks and financial institutions. You will tackle data exchange, order execution, and billing-related work while collaborating closely with a Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager. The role offers leadership of technical streams and opportunities to shape backend architecture in a fast-growing fintech environment. You will work to deliver robust, scalable solutions that enable partner integrations and seamless client experiences.

Design and build backend services for partner integrations and data exchange
Own backend architecture and deployment pipelines
Contribute to cross-stack architectural discussions and lead technical streams
Collaborate with product, design, and partner teams to translate requirements into backend designs
Ensure performance, reliability,



and security of backend systems
Mentor junior engineers and promote backend patterns and standards
Write clean, well-documented, testable code and participate in code reviews
Collaborate on embedding patterns and SSO integration with partner systems
Support accessibility and cross-platform compatibility considerations where relevant
5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
Experience building complex, data-driven UIs with dashboards and multi-step forms
Strong CSS and responsive design skills
Experience with testing strategies (Jest/Vitest, Cypress/Playwright)
Familiarity with embedding patterns and API integration
Ability to work autonomously on complex features and communicate progress
