Offer Description The contractor will investigate mass personalization techniques applied to contractual content in digital markets, focusing on their impact on users’ digital self-determination and on vulnerabilities linked to the power of digital platforms. The research combines theoretical and doctrinal analysis of the European legal framework, particularly the GDPR, UCPD, DSA, DMA, and AI Act,
with participation in the project’s empirical activities. These include experimental design, identification of legally relevant variables, and translation of experimental metrics into legal concepts such as consent, good faith, and defects of will. The contractor will also contribute to the development of a synthetic digital self-determination index and to the formulation of interpretative and policy recommendations. Strong expertise in economic law, experience in theoretical and empirical legal research, an international profile, and familiarity with international research environments are required.
