Direct exposure: the role reports to the Managing Director and interacts regularly with the CFO, senior management and the Board on strategy, performance and capital allocation topics. /p h3Financial Planning Forecasting /h3 ul liLead group-wide budgeting and business planning processes /li liDevelop integrated financial models (performance, cash flow, capital allocation) /li liPerform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions /li /ul h3Performance Management Reporting /h3 ul liOwn monthly reporting and management pack preparation /li liConduct variance analysis, KPI monitoring, and risk identification /li liTranslate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations /li liSupport reporting to the Board, investors, and senior management /li /ul h3Strategic Initiatives Transactions /h3 ul liSupport refinancing, MA, and capital allocation initiatives /li liBuild financial models for investment and financing transactions /li liCoordinate external advisors (financial, legal, tax, technical) /li liSupport due diligence and cross‑functional execution /li liEnsure consistency of assumptions across planning and transactions /li /ul h3Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liInteract directly with Managing Director, CFO, Board, and senior leadership /li liCollaborate with Finance, Investment, Treasury,
and Asset Management teams /li /ul h3Ownership Growth /h3 ul liHigh‑autonomy individual contributor role /li liStrong strategic exposure with potential for future growth /li liStrengthen cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning across portfolio and corporate level /li liDrive automation and standardisation of reporting tools and workflows /li liCollaborate with BI/IT to improve data architecture and financial systems /li liProvide senior management with clear insights on performance drivers, risks, and opportunities /li /ul ul li6-8 years of experience in FPA, corporate finance, strategic finance, or transaction-related roles /li liStrong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis /li liExperience in capital-intensive sectors (e.g., energy, infrastructure, utilities, industrials) or private equity-backed environments. /li liExposure to MA transactions, portfolio investments, or strategic projects /li liExperience in renewable energy or infrastructure investin /li liAdvanced financial modelling and Excel skills /li liStrong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and structured thinkingAbility to build financial models, data structures, and analytical tools from scratch /li liStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders. /li /ul pOrganization operating in the renewable energy investment sector, with a particular focus on solar power.
