What To Expect In this exciting and diverse role, you will strengthen our multidisciplinary team in the design, analysis,
and validation of high-voltage battery functions with a focus on fast charging and battery aging for electric vehicles. You will contribute to the development of robust charging strategies and lifetime-oriented battery concepts from simulation through validation.
Enhancing simulation and aging models for lithium-ion batteries and fast-charging processes
Developing algorithms and deriving functional measures to optimize charging performance, battery lifetime, and operating strategies
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to develop functionally consistent battery system concepts with a focus on performance, durability, and customer requirements
What You Bring Along Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field
Solid practical knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python; experience with other common programming languages is an advantage
Experience in the simulation and modeling of lithium-ion cells; knowledge of battery aging mechanisms is a plus
Basic knowledge of electrochemical energy storage systems and high-voltage battery systems
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong interest in electromobility and battery technologies
Business fluent English skills
