To strengthen our Global Product Configuration (GPC) organization, we are looking for a Product Configurator Specialist who will play a central role in the implementation, quality and evolution of our global configuration models.
/pp If you enjoy working at the intersection of engineering,
configuration logic and commercial processes — and want to actively influence how Schindler products are configured and sold worldwide — this role offers real ownership and global visibility.
/pp Your Responsibilities /pp As a Product Configurator Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and continuously improving technical and commercial configuration models for Schindler products.
/pp Your responsibilities include: /pulli Implementation of product configuration rules based on structured requirement specifications for technical and commercial configuration of Schindler Elevator products.
/lili Modeling of technical specifications and design of product configuration rules, including definition of testing specifications.
/lili Quality assurance, unit testing and structured documentation of implemented changes.
/lili Execution of extended testing scenarios, including positive and negative specifications.
/lili Actively proposing and driving continuous improvements within the global configuration environment.
/li /ulp What You Bring (Required Qualifications) /pulli University degree or equivalent (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background).
/lili Proven experience in the elevator industry or a comparable industrial environment — 2+ years.
/lili Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of configuration logic and rule?based modeling — 2+ years.
/lili Hands?on experience with CPQ (Configure – Price – Quote) or similar product configuration environments — 2+ years.
/lili Advanced understanding of IT systems and related business processes for offer and order fulfilment — 2+ years.
/lili Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
/lili English — C2 (Proficient).
/li /ulp Qualifications That Will Strengthen Your Profile (Nice to Have) /pulli Familiarity with SAP Variant Configuration and related SAP modules (MM, SD).
/lili Experience with task and change management tools (e.g., Jira, PCM Integrity).
/lili Knowledge of CRM platforms (SAP CRM, Salesforce or similar).
/lili Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
/lili Broader knowledge of the CPQ ecosystem and related enterprise tools.
