ppThe Maintenance Engineering Specialist is responsible for ensuring the operational continuity, reliability, and performance of all machinery and equipment across the two production areas (machining and assembly) within the mechanical manufacturing plants. The role oversees multidisciplinary technical domains—including automation, robotics, measurement systems, calibration, mechanical and fluidic systems—while coordinating preventive maintenance processes and supporting both internal specialists and external service providers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEquipment and Systems Support ul liProvide technical support for all machinery, equipment, and production systems installed in the machining and assembly areas. /li liOversee engineering items such as: ul liAutomation and robotics /li liMeasurement systems and calibration /li liMechanical and fluidic specialties /li /ul /li liEnsure high levels of equipment performance and reliability across both production units. /li /ul /li liPreventive Maintenance Management ul liReview, verify, and validate all preventive maintenance cycles originating from both machining and assembly areas. /li liGuarantee the consistent extension and application of preventive maintenance plans to the two target plant units. /li /ul /li liCoordination with External Service Providers ul liSupport dedicated specialists in managing relationships with external maintenance contractors. /li liReview and approve maintenance interventions and related technical clearances/authorizations.
/li /ul /li liDocumentation and Compliance ul liValidate all Machine Ledgers submitted by assigned specialists, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and technical conformity. /li liMaintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to company maintenance standards and regulatory requirements. /li /ul /li liTechnical Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement ul liMeasure and analyze technical performance data of production lines, including equipment operating parameters, machine behavior, and operational costs. /li liCollaborate with Engineering Managers to define the most appropriate improvement solutions and technological interventions. /li liProvide data-driven insights to optimize uptime, cost efficiency, and long term asset durability. /li /ul /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liStrong background in mechanical, automation, or industrial engineering. /li liExperience in maintenance engineering in complex industrial context (experience in foundry will be considered a preferred qualification) /li liKnowledge of robotics, automation systems, and fluidic/mechanical equipment. /li liAbility to analyze technical KPIs and maintenance cost drivers /li liA degree in Engineering /li liPrevious Experience as Manufacturing/Maintenance engineer in a complex industrial context. /li /ul pAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
