ppFor our office in bCalceranica (TN), /b we are looking for a bSustainability Specialist /b who will join the bInnovation Sustainability /bdepartment. /p pbJob purpose: /b /p pThe Sustainability Specialist supports the design, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the company’s sustainability strategy and programs. The role contributes to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, corporate policies, and international standards, while supporting business objectives and stakeholder expectations. /p pbKey Responsibilities: /b /p ul liSupport the deployment of the corporate sustainability and ESG strategy across operations and functions. /li liMonitor progress against sustainability roadmaps and support actions where required. /li liCollect, analyse and report CSR data across all aspects of ESG. It also includes environmental data points like energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, 2, and applicable categories in Scope 3), water use, waste generation, and recycling rates. /li liSupport and coordinate initiatives related to climate change mitigation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy, and eco-design. /li liSupport internal awareness and training activities related to social and ethical sustainability topics. /li liPerform products LCA calculations and reports. /li liSupport responsible sourcing and supplier sustainability programs, including conducting CSR assessments and audits (e.g. SMETA, CDP, EcoVadis, Sedex). /li liContribute to the organisation and execution of initiatives related to human rights, labor standards, health and safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion. /li liContribute to the organisation and execution of the CosterCares program (in the ethicalsocial sector), including coordinating foreign subsidiaries.
/li liSupport internal awareness and training activities related to social and ethical sustainability topics. /li liContribute to internal and external sustainability reporting, including annual sustainability or ESG reports. /li liSupport data preparation and disclosure for frameworks and ratings such as GRI, CDP, EcoVadis, EMF, M2030,… and regulatory disclosures when required. /li liEnsure data quality, traceability, and consistency across reporting cycles. /li liSupport engagement with internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, RD, finance, HR) to integrate sustainability into business processes. /li liPrepare sustainability-related presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders. /li liDeliver responses to customer and investor sustainability questionnaires. /li liIdentify opportunities for sustainability performance improvement and cost optimization. /li liParticipate in cross-functional sustainability projects and working groups. /li liSupport benchmarking and best-practice analysis within the industry. /li liContinuously review regulatory framework for sustainability, trends and benchmarking. /li liReview progress and promote sustainability projects aimed at creating a culture of sustainability. /li /ul pbQualifications and Experience /b /p pbEducation: /b /p ul liDegree focused on Sustainability, like in Environmental Science, Management Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Economics for the Environment and Sustainability or similar. /li liAdditional: A Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management,
or ESG-related disciplines is an advantage. Professional Experience /li liMin 5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or a related function. /li liExperience in industrial, manufacturing, or packaging environments is highly valued. /li liFamiliarity with ISO and sustainability standards, frameworks, and reporting methodologies. /li /ul pbKnowledge and Skills: /b /p ul liSolid understanding of sustainability and ESG principles. /li liKnowledge of environmental metrics, carbon accounting, and life cycle thinking. /li liFamiliarity with international standards and frameworks (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, GRI, SMETA, CDP, EcoVadis, EMF). /li liKnowledge of LCA calculation. Use of Simapro is highly appreciated. /li liStrong analytical skills and ability to manage and interpret data. /li liAdvanced user in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. /li liStructured and detail-oriented approach /li liStrong organizational and time management skills /li liAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teams /li liProactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation /li liIntegrity and strong ethical values /li liSmooth communication both in working groups and in public /li /ul pbWorking Conditions: /b /p ul liOffice-based with periodic visits to operational sites and suppliers as required. /li liOccasional national or international travel may be required. /li /ul pCoster is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a Diverse Inclusive environment.
