As Lead Product Engineer, you will lead the technical design and development of Converse footwear from concept to production, ensuring fit, construction, and product integrity.
You'll collaborate with Design, Product Management, Materials, and Manufacturing to translate design intent into viable products that meet performance, quality, and sustainability goals.
You will leverage market insights and emerging technologies to improve outcomes and elevate the Converse brand.
This role combines design, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver consumer-led footwear at scale.

Lead technical design and development of assigned footwear styles from concept through commercialization and production
Coordinate fit, construction, and technical development for defined styles
Create, maintain, and revise tech packs, product specs, prototype notes, and construction standards
Drive fit and construction consistency while preserving product integrity and quality standards
Identify and resolve development, manufacturing,



and commercialization challenges with factory teams
Manage prototypes and communicate risks, opportunities, and progress
Collaborate with Design, Product Management, Materials, and Manufacturing teams to deliver innovative solutions
Stay connected to market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer insights to improve performance, sustainability, and manufacturability
Responsabilità
Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Engineering, Textile Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Extensive experience in footwear technical design, product engineering, or product creation
Deep knowledge of footwear construction, pattern engineering, grading, materials, manufacturing processes, costing, and quality standards
Experience partnering with factory manufacturers to improve product quality and manufacturability
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD pattern engineering tools, and/or 3D product creation platforms
