Do you have a true passion for the Pharmaceutical or Electronic industries and for delivering the best solutions for our customers? We are looking for a Software Automation Test Engineer responsible for preparing and executing tests to verify software functionality.
What you will do Planning and implementation of testing strategies.
Execution of automated and manual tests: use specific tools to automate tests or perform manual tests when necessary.
Identification and documentation of malfunctions: detect bugs and issues, documenting them accurately to facilitate their resolution.
Preparation of test reports: provide detailed documentation on the tests performed and the results obtained.
Collaboration with the development team: work closely with developers to fix defects and improve software functionalities.
Key Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Automation Engineering.
At least 2 years of professional experience as a Software Tester, or in debugging and/or software development within structured companies.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# to support code understanding and the creation of automated test scripts.
Experience in database management, with the ability to query SQL and NoSQL databases to verify data integrity during testing.
Experience with testing tools such as Ranorex (preferred), Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium, TestRail, Jenkins, and Git.
Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies to effectively integrate into modern development processes.
Nice to have Knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux, and RTOS.
Knowledge of industrial automation environments, including SCADA systems and PLC programming languages.
Skills in scripting, version control systems (Git), and familiarity with virtualization environments.
ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification.
Benefits Permanent contract with a competitive salary package in the range of €35,000 – €45,000 gross annual salary, based on experience and seniority.
