Schindler GroupYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development and industrialization of innovative mechanical solutions for elevator products.Your responsibilities include:Leading the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for elevator systems, ensuring compliance with technical, safety and quality requirementsCreating and reviewing 3D models, drawings and engineering documentation using PTC Creo and managing product data within WindchillDriving technical decision-making and providing engineering guidance across development projects and design reviewsPerforming engineering calculations, tolerance analysis and technical validations to ensure robust and reliable solutionsSupporting product verification, prototyping and testing activities, analyzing results and implementing corrective actions when requiredEnsuring design-to-cost, manufacturability, maintainability and serviceability throughout the product lifecycleCoordinating with cross-functional teams including R&D;, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Supply ChainActing as a technical mentor for junior engineers, supporting their development and promoting engineering excellence within the teamWhat You Bring (Required Qualifications)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringSeveral years of experience in mechanical design and product development within industrial engineering environmentsAdvanced proficiency in PTC Creo for 3D modeling,
