Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Pontinia (Latina), and take ownership of the accounting and day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities in Italy.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Manage the full accounting cycle for several group entities in Italy
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax requirements
- Prepare, review, and execute supplier payments and bank transactions ensuring proper traceability
- Maintain relationships with banks and payment platforms
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
- Support internal and external audits
- Coordinate with external advisors (tax, audit, legal)
- Ensure the preparation of all required documentation for grants application and compliance.
Your talent and knowledge
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in multi-entity environments
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP; IFRS is a plus)
- Experience with treasury operations and payment processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems, experience with Netsuite is an advantage
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and autonomy
- Fluent in Italian and English
